SAM HOCKING, FOUNDER
Mr. Hocking gained significant experience in outsourcing business services as one of the top IBM sales managers. Building on this experience and focusing on providing personal service to his clients, in 1970, Mr. Hocking founded
Dallas Data Processing which became Oil Gas Business Solutions. Over the years, his
day-to-day hands-on oil and gas business experience has grown and matured.
In service to clients, Mr. Hocking has helped hundreds of clients understand
bookkeeping intricacies, identify alternatives and carry out the selected
plans.
Mr. Hocking holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama
TOM BLACK, PRESIDENT
Joining in 2001, Mr. Black is the Chief Executive Officer responsible for
all facets of the organization. With fifteen years of business
strategy, process and systems consulting prior to joining OGBS he brought a
wealth of tested and proven capabilities to our team. His prior
experiences included design and implementation of accounting software and
process for BP Alaska; rapid implementation of SEC recognized bookkeeping
processes and software for YPF, Argentina, and other energy related
engagements.
Mr. Black holds a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Business Management from the University of Texas, Austin.
YUVONNE DOSS, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Ms. Doss joined OGBS in 2002 and is responsible for managing all process teams and personnel who provide back
office services. She has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry specializing in management of bookkeeping functions for corporations,
partnerships, trusts, and individuals. Areas of concentration include small to midsize independent oil and gas operators, energy and power, and real estate.
Ms. Doss holds a Bachelors of Science from Southern Methodist University.
JAKE GOFF, DIRECTOR OF PRODUCTS & TECHNOLOGY
Joining in 2006, Mr. Goff manages our technology team of system administrators, help desk, and software developers, as well as, provides our product management and application roadmap for the organization. He brings 15+ years of experience in systems and service management focused in the Energy sector with previous clients including: Burlington Resources, XTO, Pioneer, Louis Dreyfuss, El Paso, TXU Energy, and Reliant.
Mr. Goff holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Operations Management from the University of Texas, Dallas.
